Opportunities for Sponsorship
There are always more opportunities for additional sponsors and partners to come on board with PICSE UWA.
You could
- Sponsor an award at one of our Science Investigation Awards in Perth or Albany.
- Sponsor for a teacher of student Travelling Scholarship.
- Open up your company or research institute to PICSE for an industry visit with students.
- Act as a mentor for students working as a scientist conducting their own investigation.
- Offer your services as a guest speaker to share your research during our Teacher Professional Developments, Science Investigation Awards and Industry Placement Camps.
- Provide a placement for PICSE Industry Placement Students in January for 1 week.
- Become a PICSE partner by making a significant financial commitment to the project.
- Participate in the production of our interactive Teacher Resources
In 2010-11, PICSE UWA engaged and interacted with over 2300 students all around Western Australia. Additionally, we have been holding Professional Development seminars for WA teachers for the last ten years.
We can work with you and your organisation to customize a sponsorship package of a mix of the above opportunities.
