The PICSE UWA Industry Placement Scholarship Program for 2011/12 has wrapped up and it was extremely successful! Our students were placed at the Department of Agriculture and Food, UWA Oceans Institute, CSIRO, Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority among others. At the Reporting Back Session on the 27th of January, Federal Senator Chris Back of the Liberal Party spoke to the importance of facing the impending food crisis through outreach programs such as PICSE. Hear what one student had to say about his experience with the Industry Placement Scholarship! It has been a great PICSE year and we're looking forward to working with you all in 2012!

School’s back and so is PICSE for another Year! We are now accepting Expressions of Interest for all PICSE UWA activities for the coming 2012 school year. If you would like to book your school in for a school visit, the Science Investigation Awards in July and August or the Teacher Professional Development in November, contact us now at picse-fnas@uwa.edu.au. Expressions of Interest for the Sciecne Investigation Awards are due it the end of April and can be found here.
