Science Investigation Workshops

Three professional development workshops will be offered in April for teachers in Tasmania.

Teachers are invited to share and trial ideas about using inquiry-based science investigations in your classroom, a valuable way for students to provide evidence of achievement against the Tasmanian and National Science curricula. The workshop will include examples of what research investigations might look like and opportunities available to students who complete research investigations, such as the Tasmanian Science Talent Search awards and the PICSE UTAS Science Investigation Awards. A teacher's perspective on incorporating research investigations into their science curriculum will also be presented.
