The dates for the 2011 PICSE USC Teacher Professional Development have been changed to Wednesday 7 December – Thursday 8 December, 2011.
The national theme for this year’s PD is ‘The Science of Food and Fibre Security’. Registration includes all resources, meals, a dinner function on Wednesday 7 December and a free PICSE lab coat!

PICSE USC has visited 18 schools from Caboolture to Hervey Bay speaking to Year 11/12 students about study and career opportunities in the Primary Industries and the Industry Placement Scholarship (IPS) Program. The IPS includes a free one week camp at USC, a one week Industry Placement working with a scientist in an area of your interest and a $300 scholarship payment. School visits will end Friday 7 October and all IPS applicants will be notified of the outcome.
