Canberra Think Tank and Reception at Parliament House:
"Positions Vacant: Young Scientists wanted for Australia's Future Food Security" was hosted by PICSE and AgriFood Skills on 21 June.  Brooke, a Year 12 student from Urrbrae Agricultural High School and Sam Rogers, a second year Flinders University student, both represented the PICSE Flinders Activity Centre.  They were able to address Members of Parliament and Industry Directors about the impact PICSE has had in their future career choices.   Both students, along with other student representatives from other Activity Centres, did themselves, their schools and the PICSE programme proud.

Previous PICSE students, Olivia, Sarah, Kaine, Thomas, Vanessa and Anthony have started their first year of study at Flinders University.  We wish them the very best of success in their selected courses.

PICSE Alumni
An exciting development this year will be the establishment of a PICSE Alumni, where past PICSE students will be able to maintain contact with each other.  Participating students will be given the opportunity to provide mentoring to new PICSE students.  We will also provide members with details of university and work opportunities that are available to them, and other exciting details.  For more information please click here.
